How to add Leads and Contacts in Salesforce Campaign

As we know that Campaign is a group of Contacts and Leads exposed to specific marketing communications. So basically, it stores essential performance metrics and here salespeople can quickly see the prospects and customers that received marketing activities.

For example, here are some of the things you can easily do with Campaigns in Salesforce are:

How To Create A Campaign in Salesforce

Goto the Sales app and click on the Campaign tab and then click “New”.

If you don’t have permission to do this, you must need the Marketing User checkbox set to True.

You find this feature on the User record in your org.

Now, let's create a campaign:-

Campaign Hierarchy:

Basically, Campaign Hierarchy allows you to link related Salesforce Campaigns to one another, and arrange them into a hierarchy structure.

Having ‘child’ campaigns linked to ‘parent’ campaigns is so beneficial for both the general and reporting organization, and it's really important to use this Salesforce feature.

Salesforce Campaign Members Defined:-

In the Campaign object, there is a related object “Campaign member” so basically campaign member describes the relationship between an individual Contact or Lead and a Salesforce Campaign. The amazing feature is that it tracks the change in this relationship over time, and it's critical for building useful marketing reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
